Press and Media Welcome

We are pleased to welcome members of the press and media to the inaugural Breakthrough T1D Clinical & Research Congress, taking place Oct. 9–11, 2026, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

To ensure you have everything you need for a successful event, we offer complimentary registration for approved media personnel.

How to Register

  1. Submit Your Credentials: Send valid press credentials (press ID card or a letter from your affiliated institution) by email to media@BreakthroughT1D.org. Use the subject line: CRC Press Registration and include your full name, outlet information, and contact details in the email.
  2. Get Approved: Once our team reviews and approves your credentials, your registration fee will be fully waived.
  3. Check Your Inbox: Approved media will receive a digital packet containing official information and essential resources to help you plan your coverage.

Day-of-Event Arrival Policy

Walk-up Registration: While we highly encourage pre-registering to receive key conference information and resources in advance, we do accommodate last-minute press arrivals. If you are registering on the day of the event, please head directly to the Registration Desk. Our attendants will verify your credentials on-site, provide you with a press badge, and waive your entry fee.

Embargo Policy and Guidelines

All presentations and findings shared at the Clinical & Research Congress that have not been previously shared or published are subject to embargo until they have been shared. Press may report on presentations and findings as they are released, given that it is not data that is unpublished or under review.

Photography and recording during sessions is permitted unless explicitly restricted by the speaker, chair, or company representative. Reporting guidelines related to unpublished or under-review data apply here as well.

The Breakthrough T1D Clinical & Research Congress is open to content creators on an invite-only basis. If you have not received an invitation from Breakthrough T1D but are interested in attending, please reach out to us with your name and social media handle, and a member of our team will be in touch.
